“We are seeing subtle changes in the market,” reports Linda O’Koniewski, CEO, Leading Edge. “While rents continue to rise, we are seeing fewer buyers vying for some condos. While the market still enormously favors sellers, and most units are selling the first week they go to market, we are seeing a lot more cases of only one to three offers. Condos need to be priced well to sell.
“Boston condos are stabilizing in price and in some cases sitting on the market longer. A sign that we might see some price reductions in the near future, especially of new development where prices might be aspirational.
