Today, I’m going to share with you 5 ways to build your pipeline and generate business! It’s never too early to start thinking about your pipeline. Working your sphere of influence and staying top of mind will insure you have business in the future and will keep you from pushing the panic button.
Create lists in Social Media
What’s really cool about creating lists on social media, particularly Facebook, is that you can keep tabs on your clients all in one spot. Find out what they’re up to, what they’re interested in and you then, can engage directly with them by like, commenting or sharing their content. You can ALSO create posts directed specifically at them. Think market reports, community information, spring-cleaning ideas…you name it, all the while staying top of mind and keeping them close.
Invest in Facebook Ads to Help Generate Business
Speaking of Facebook, if you haven’t gotten started on Facebook ads, there’s no time like the present. Facebook has become a pay-to-play environment. That means that your posts are not reaching your followers newsfeeds as often as those that are boosted or advertised. Facebook ads allow you to advertise directly to your target audience, and will give you the maximum exposure possible on social media. You can use Facebook ads to advertise a new listing, a seminar you’re hosting, or simply to build awareness of your personal brand.
Schedule Regular Email Newsletters
So many of us get bored and bogged down with too many emails but email newsletters are still an effective way to reach your clients. The key to a successful email campaign is to break through the noise and give your readers content that will entice them to open and start clicking. This means more video, image galleries and interactive animation. Start by partnering with an email provider like Constant Contact or MailChimp. Both have free platforms then create a monthly newsletter. In terms of content, less (more impactful content) is more. Keep it to 3-4 pieces of highly valuable content.
Pop-by with a Gift
Pop-bys are still a quick and easy way to show your clients you appreciate them and gain referrals. Schedule a pop-by once or twice/year. It’s easy and fun to get creative.
Host a Gathering
Hosting a client appreciation party is one of most effective ways to strengthen your client relationships and gain referrals. Afraid no one will show? Don’t forget, it’s also an opportunity for your clients to network with potential customers as well. Host a cocktail hour at a local venue or a summer BBQ at your home if space allows. You could also bring a charitable component to it, which will go a long way in building your reputation as an agent who cares about his/her community.
