Today, we are going to talk about increasing your online reviews. Peer-to-peer reviews are more important than ever before and people are more apt to purchase products after reading a review from a stranger than they are from seeing a TV commercial or hearing a radio ad. AND, on average, in the real estate business 85% of business comes from repeat and referrals.
Ask For Online Reviews
Ask for the review when your client is feeling the BEST about you. There’s no time like the present. They’re feeling excited, optimistic and most importantly GRATEFUL to you for navigating them through a very personal and stressful transaction. That first 24 hours after the transaction has closed is critical. It’s when they’re feeling the best about and are more apt to remember the little things that made your relationship so special.
Make Giving Online Reviews Easy
Make it as EASY as possible for them to give you a positive review. As soon as the transaction has closed, send them an email with a direct link to your Zillow account and request that they write a review. Make sure to say “thank you” and remember to send them a personal note once the review is published.
Use Your Best Reviews
Use your best reviews to support your marketing efforts. Add your best reviews to your website and on your marketing collateral as this will provide validation and ensure future clients know what makes you unique and special.
Bonus Tip on Online Reviews!
If you’re using social media, get your client’s permission and ask to take a photo of them in front of their sold sign or their new home then post it to your social media together with the review. A picture is worth a thousand words and makes the review come to life!
